Secly is built by Steve Procter — 44 years writing code, 30 years building startups, ex-Logica, IBM, and Deutsche Bank, Replit Ambassador, and founder of Gipity. Secly exists because the tools meant to catch the bad stuff never did.

The audit tools landscape today is split between fast checkers that miss almost everything (a Lighthouse score and a meta-tag sniff), and enterprise platforms priced at five figures a year with twelve-week onboarding. Both are designed for engineering teams that already know what they are doing.

Solo builders shipping with AI, agencies, SEO consultants, and small dev shops sit between those poles. They deploy real websites, often with the help of an AI editor. They get to roughly 80% on functionality before they hit the ceiling of what an LLM can self-review. Secly is built solo by Steve inside Gipity, his idea studio for opinionated developer tools. There is no marketing department, no growth-hack roadmap. The same person who writes the rules engine also writes the rate-limiter that protects it.

Secly is sold as a private invite-only scan-engine API to agencies, tech leads, and app builders.
